For many of us, we dream of spending our senior years relaxing and taking things easy.
But for a retired FBI agent and former US Customs worker, they are spending their retirement caring for horses that are desperately in need of love.
Abandoned, abused, neglected, many of the horses that Larry and Peggy Neaves care for lived a life that no horse ever should.
But Larry and Peggy don’t mind all the work that is involved to keep the Forever Ranch running, because the 14 hour days are worth it when they see how much joy that they bring to these animals who need it so much.
Peggy said: “We were gonna travel, but we don’t really have that desire now. These things are much worthwhile to spend our money on.”
