Democrat Tries Visiting Kilmar Garcia In El Salvador On Memorial Day Weekend

Democrats appear to have learned no lessons from their defeat across the board in this past election, as they have gone all in to support illegal immigrant gang member and accused wife-beater Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

The latest Democrat to do so was Maryland Rep. Glenn Ivey, who went to visit the deported criminal on Memorial Day, earning the scorn of the White House, Fox News reported.

“This moron spent his Memorial Day trying (and failing) to visit a criminal illegal immigrant gangbanger in a foreign country. For Democrats, criminal illegals > American citizens every time,” the White House’s rapid response team said in a post on X.

It came after the Democrat representative’s post on X in which he said that he supports the deported criminal who, in addition to having two orders of protection requests against him filed by his wife in the past, was also suspected of human trafficking.

“Today, I was denied access to seeing my constituent, Mr. Kilmar Abrego Garcia. If there is nothing to hide, cut the crap. Let his lawyer and I check on him,” the Democrat said.

“I’m the congressman who represents Kilmar and I came all the way down from the United States after we contacted their ambassador, after we made formal requests through our ambassador to the El Salvadoran government, and we came here to visit him today,” he said.

“We need to bring him home. I won’t stop until we do,” he said.

The good news for the Democrat representative is that Garcia is home, as the nation he was deported to, El Salvador, is where he is originally from.

White House deputy press secretary Abigail Jackson spoke to Fox News Digital and said “it’s shameful, and an insult to the American people, that a Democrat Congressman spent his Memorial Day trying to visit a deported illegal alien, MS-13 terrorist, human-trafficker, and wife beater.”

“This pathetic stunt tells you everything you need to know about the priorities of the modern Democrat party – they’re putting criminal illegals over American citizens all the time,” she said.

A Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper stopped Garcia in 2022, suspecting that the illegal alien was involved in human trafficking.

During the stop, Garcia allegedly “pretended to speak less English than he was capable of and attempted to put the officer off track by responding to questions with questions.”

The Department of Justice is looking into the traffic stop of Kilmar Abgrego Garcia by the Tennessee Highway Patrol in 2022, according to ABC News.

The Trump administration garnered headlines after deporting Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran national, from Maryland to an El Salvador prison. Abrego Garcia had unlawfully entered the United States in 2011. Fox News initially acquired body camera footage from the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s November 2022 interaction with Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

At the time, state authorities suspected Abrego Garcia of human trafficking and pulled him over for speeding. He was in the automobile with eight other individuals.

Abrego Garcia told officers they had been working on a construction project in Missouri. The soldiers did not give Abrego Garcia a ticket and allowed him to go on.

ABC News learned that Jose Ramon Hernandez-Reyes, 38, was the registered owner of the car operated by Abrego Garcia.

According to ABC News, federal agents investigating the traffic stop questioned Hernandez-Reyes last month at the Federal Correctional Institution in Talladega, Alabama, and learned that he had hired Abrego Garcia several times to transport undocumented migrants from Texas to other locations in the United States.
