Erika Kirk Says Charlie Left Her ‘Everything’ To Continue His Mission

Erika Kirk, the widow of conservative activist and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, told fellow conservative broadcaster Glenn Beck that she believes her husband was preparing her to take over the operation for some time.

In a video clip posted to X, Beck described a recent conversation he had with Erika following her husband’s shocking assassination at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, earlier this month, in which she told him, “I think Charlie prepared me for this and I didn’t even know it.”

Beck went on to say that Erika said her husband “left me the plans for 2028. He left me the budgets for the future. He left this for me.”

Erika also allegedly told the conservative broadcaster that her husband kept a daily diary that she didn’t know existed until she found it, along with his plans, after his murder.

Meanwhile, the Deseret News reported last week that Charlie Kirk’s daughter would always tune into his show because he would take one of her toys with him every time he went on the air.

“That was their little connection,” Erika told the outlet. “And he loved it too, because it was a little piece of her that he could have with her on the show.”

Following Charlie’s death, Erika immediately stepped up to fill his roles, with the TPUSA board voting to name her CEO of the organization.

“It’s surreal to actually be sitting, because last time I was standing …” Erika said, pausing, referring to her national address two days after Charlie’s assassination. “But yeah, it’s a little more emotional,” she added.

“You are rightly at the head of the table, and we’re just so honored to have you here,” said Andrew Kolvet, Charlie’s show producer who has also stepped in to ensure the podcast continues.

“To say that your life has been a whirlwind would be the understatement of the century,” he said.

During a brief appearance, Erika Kirk assured listeners that Turning Point USA, Turning Point Action and The Charlie Kirk Show will continue operating in honor of the murdered commentator, and that his social-media channels will keep posting content.

“We’ve been very intentional in a way that always keeps Charlie first and his dreams alive and his legacy going,” she said.

During the episode, she also revealed that a significant collection of never-before-seen material from the late conservative activist will be released.

Erika also described a detailed “blueprint” Charlie left for her and his Turning Point USA team that extends well beyond 2030. She emphasized that both his radio show and foundation will continue operating.

“‘The Charlie Kirk Show’ is not going anywhere,” Erika said. “My husband’s voice will live on. The show will go on. We will have rotating hosts, rotating casts, people coming on. The members-only group will continue to go on, all of the socials that God has blessed us with. The people who follow those socials will go on. Nothing is changing.”

“The team is keeping this alive because we have Charlie in each and every one of us,” she added. “This is not going anywhere. We need to be able to have people have a show where they can ask questions…and we play a clip of what Charlie said a month ago, a year ago.

“We have decades worth of my husband’s voice. We have unused material from speeches that he’s had that no one has heard yet. We have Sunday specials lined up to the brim because my husband was so intentional about making sure that there was enough content always,” Erika noted further.
