INGREDIENTS
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 package Kielbasa sliced
- 1 package Sauerkraut drained
- 1 package bacon diced
- black pepper
- mustard to serve – optional
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a large skillet pan medium heat saute the bacon until crispy. Remove to a paper towel and drain most of the fat from the pan reserving a tablespoon or so in the skillet.
- Saute the onions until they are slightly opaque; about 3-4 minutes over medium low heat. Add the mostly drained sauerkraut scraping up all the browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Add a little black pepper to your liking.
- Add the kielbasa and cook for a couple of minutes, add the bacon back into the skillet and give it a quick stir and serve.
